CORKER DEFENDS HIS GANG OF TEN OFFSHORE DRILLING PLAN.

Senator Bob Corker (RINO-TN) has teamed up with some fellow Republicans and Democrats to propose legislation to authorize drilling for oil...as long as we drill where there is no significant amount of oil. And he is happy to defend his plan as long as he can talk to people who really don't know anything about his plan. I guess there is some consistency there. Senator Corker has declined to defend his plan on the Steve Gill Show, since we have actually read the plan and can pinpoint the ridiculous assertions he has made in support of it. CLICK HERE.
Note that Senator Corker claims that this plan is NOT a lifeline for the Democrats and Barack Obama. In fact, Corker claims that Obama would never support this plan. Really? He already has. Nearly two weeks ago. Boy, is our junior Senator right on top of things or what?!?!?! CLICK HERE. |

In yet another example of the mad rush by virtually every interest group, real or imagined, to claim victim status for real or imagined slights, advocates for the mentally disabled and "intellectually challenged" are now designating the word "retarded" as the "R" word. Really, it is on par with the "N" word? Seriously?!?!!? CLICK HERE. Are "idot", "nitwit", "moron", "stupid" and "dumba##" better choices?
This movie is likely to fail in spectacular fashion, but not because of any protests. It is a "stupid" movie that is unlikely to attract huge boxoffice return. But don't the liberal, victimized protesters also demonstrate a pretty glaringly misplaced set of priorities when they gather to protest this movie while completely ignoring the murder or innocent men, women and children (some of whom are most likely "mentally deficient") in Georgia at the hands of Russian troops? "Sticks and stones (and bombs and mortars and AK 47 rounds) will break your bones, but words will never hurt me." |

How can any self-respecting, Bush hating liberal not put one of these on their bumpers?!?!?!? I know we share amazement at the fact that liberals have not poured into the streets to protest the brutal aggression directed at Georgia from Russia. Where are the Russian flags being burned in protest? The denouncements of Vladimir Putin for his "war for oil"? The silence from the Left makes it clear that they are actually much more anti-American than anti-war.
